The American Safety and Health Institute’s Pediatric CPR AED and First Aid is a comprehensive course that covers Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED and Pediatric first aid, injury and medical emergencies.   Perfect for daycare workers, school teachers, youth sports coaches, parents, grandparents, babysitters, etc.  It is offered as blended learning, in 2 easy parts.  

Part 1 is a self-directed, interactive, online learning module that  can be completed at your own pace. A link to the program will be emailed to each registered student.  After completion of the online course, a Certificate of Completion will be issued which is required to proceed  to Part 2. See below for full course content. 

Part 2 is an in-person, hands-on skills session with an instructor. 
  • Practice scene safety and assessment
  • Practice using standard precautions 
  • Practice bleeding control and bandaging wounds  
  • Practice Adult, Child and Infant CPR and AED use
  • Practice relief of a choking victim
  • Practice use of epinephrine auto injector (i.e. EpiPen, Auvi-Q)

An email with a unique link to the online program will be sent to the registered student. Since the  digital access rights and certificate cards are specific to each  student, the program can not be withdrawn once issued to the student. There will be no refunds once registration is complete. 


 

We R CPR Disclaimer

According to AHA, you must have the ability to push at the at least 2 inches  on the feed back  manikins consistently and administer breaths properly.  This is an AHA requirement for the SKILLS portion of the testing.  If you have any physical issues or health problems that may prevent you from meeting this requirement, please speak with a We R CPR office maager immediately.  

This includes:

Covid 19/Fever/ flu symptoms

Cold sores/ open face sores

Recent wrist, arm or shoulder surgery

Spinal or neck injuries

Carpel Tunnel Syndrome

Parkinson’s

Pregnancy

Covid 19/TB- active- Don't come to class 

Inability to stand

We will make accommodations as allowed.  However, you may be required to return at another time if you are unable to pass the skills portion and you will not be able to receive your  CPR card.
